The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission has released a notification for the recruitment of various posts. There are so many vacancies to be filled. Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: The candidates initially should form the State of Andhra Pradesh and should be possessing the qualifications Graduation (Technical And Non Technical Courses) and Post Graduation in specified branches to apply for this ap jobs

Age Limit: Applicants should possess minimum 18 years and maximum 44 years to apply for this jobs

APPSC Group I Exam Syllabus, Pattern 2016

Screening Test: 150 marks 150n minutes of Time

  • General Studies & Mental Ability (Objective Type) 150 Questions.

Written Examination Conventional Type: 150 marks 180n minutes of Time

  • Compulsory Subjects and General English

Paper-I: General Essay 150 marks 180n minutes of Time

Paper-II: 150 marks 180n minutes of Time

i. History & Cultural Heritage of India with emphasis on the 20th-century history of India.

ii. Social history of Andhra Pradesh, i.e., the history of various social and cultural movements in Andhra Pradesh

iii. General overview of the Indian Constitution

Paper-III: 150 marks 180n minutes of Time

i) Planning in India & Indian Economy

ii) Land Reforms and social changes in Andhra Pradesh after independence

iii) Andhra Pradesh’s Economy, present status its strengths and weaknesses

Paper-IV: 150 marks 180n minutes of Time

i) The role and impact of Science &Technology in the development of India with emphasis on the applied aspects

ii) General awareness of the modern trends in life sciences.

Iii) Development and environmental problems

Paper-V: 150 marks 180n minutes of Time

i) Data appreciation and interpretation

ii) The candidates will be asked to draw their own conclusion from the data presented in the tabular form in graphical or otherwise

iii) Problem-solving – duly structured situation will be presented to the candidates, and they will be asked to suggest their own solutions to the problem arising out of the situation. Alternatively, they may be called upon to prove the understanding of the situation by answering certain searching questions based on the situation

PAPER-I: General Studies.
Syllabus formulated by the Board of Secondary School Certificate, A.P., as prescribed for 10th Class in History, Geography, Civics, Economics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology and Current Affairs.

PAPER-II: – Secretarial Abilities:-

1) Mental Ability (Verbal and non-verbal)
2) Logical Reasoning
3) Comprehension
4) Re-arrangement of sentences with a view to improving analysis of passage.
5) Numerical and Arithmetical abilities.
